I think it's popular because, like the guy before me, people think it's just talking about other people and we can all do that, right? Those people usually know just enough about pop psychology to think they have it figured out. In reality, psychology can be one of the most complex subjects, because human beings are unique in some ways, and remarkably similar in others. Human behavior is as varied as human beings, and studying why we act the way we do can be a lifelong endeavor.

Psychology plays a major part in almost every profession as it is the study of individual and group behaviours. Psychologists explain brain development or the lack of it . How babies learn. How moral development starts or maladapts. Psychology explains conflict resolution as well as discovering therapies, talk, cognitive, behaviourial to help people deal with their problems.
