How strange after not seeing Pete from the age of 10months, his father has suddenly come back into the family.

Unfortunately noone will no the true answer to this except for Pete and his family.
I agree it is suspect that he is just getting in contact now Pete is famous, but Pete seems genuinely pleased that his dad is in the picture. There could have been a big family rift, like someone already mentioned, that his dad may have not been allowed contact, which unfortunately happens far too often.
On the other hand - he is a big, fat, money grabbing, attention seeking pig and should be shot!

Very suspicious. According to newspapers he is now speaking to Pete's Mum having not had contact for years. Could the money be the pull I ask myself, or the fame - definitely!! He says he couldn't trace them - rubbish - you can find anyone these days if you really want to.

Everybody either wants to be a star or be related to one, and as Pete has star quality written over him then daddy wants to know his little pete and he hopes the reunion will be aired on tv then daddy can show that he's talented as well aaaaa is'nt that sweet!!!!!!

is he the only man to leave a mum and baby.I'm sure Pete wasn't displaying his turrets at 10 months,how many other chances would an estranged farther get to see how his son is doing,other than on TV.OK his timing is **** and yes i will agree its the money and fame.Although he might have a few quid himself,he might.

Its a good point, maybe he wants to get to know his son because of his fame on BB. Or he could be genuinely interested in seeing his son again and realizes that prehaps now is a better time than any.

well apparently his mum walked out on his dad when pete was a baby and she wouldnt let his dad see him so may be the dad lost all contact and he is only finding him now. who knows you decide?
