The university professor they interviewed played some clips from speeches by Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and thusly prediected that Iran was probably going to drop a nuclear weapon on Isreal on August 22nd of this year.

I missed most of the news feature (was busy) so I wondered if anyone else has heard anything about this. It didn't seem to be a hoax.

Okay I was just doing some reading and I am mistaken about Isreal - Iran supports Isreal so maybe it was Lebanon they were talking about? I honestly only heard enough to pique my curiosity.

And we don't know they don't have nuclear weapons.

I read on Wiki that Iran's support of Isreal is controversial. Actually, I skimmed through the article. I dunno, I guess I just heard enough to scare me.

Look here - Noted Middle Eastern scholar Bernard Lewis warns that Iran is preparing for an apocalyptic "end of time” – and that it could come as soon as August 22.

Also Iran certainly does not support Israel. They finance hizbollah who are at war with Israel right now.

. The Shia are in power in Iran. nothing new there. It may have some merit. But the Shia are also the majority of Iraq and lately they have Been rearing their heads what with the demonstrations in Baghdad lately.

And the Hezbollah are Shia. So. if the Shia take over Iraq, then Syria which is Sunni would have Shia on both sides. Wouldn't take long for them to go thru Syria. then Jordan and next Israel That could be quite a scenario. The remainder of the Arab world, with the exception of Yemen, which is Shia, is mostly Sunni.

Turkey would be forced to take over Iraqi Kurdistan. to prevent their own Kurds from trying to join Iraqi Kurdistan, something that has been going on for years.

Quite a scenario., eh what?

Iran supports the destruction of Israel. They have said many times they want to blow it off the face of the map. As far as the story, I've heard bits and pieces, but if they do that to Israel, Iran will be turned to glass before they know what them.

How can they drop nukes if they have none?

This "great" administration of ours has told us that they wont have one for possibly 10 years.
