Looks like Terrorism has many shades.

Yes it was through an association called NORAID. I pose this question to those that confuse Terrorism with Freedom Fighting, Race with Bigotry and what is acceptable to what is unacceptable. The power of the media comes into this because I never, ever saw a FOX news condemnation of the IRA killers murdering nearly 7000 British and Irish people whilst America was funding them.

INCOGNITO, LoL, Yes!! ever so slightly. This level of hypocrisy is only attainable, when the Government knows that the people are servile, uninformed and get their news reports from 3 minuite snippets.
You and I know differently though, that's why we are not fooled by 9/11

magpie, do you want to check your facts re the dates of the troubles? Up to yesterday, the IRA are knee-capping people and drug dealing. An ex-Ira/British agent murdered only 2 months ago.

Americans. Its funny that as soon as someone kills THEIR civillians its all "War on terror" and "bomb the world" but they were quite happy to donate to a terrorist organisation which targetted NON-American civillians.

Does the stench of hypocrisy hit your nostrils?!

You asked what country, the USA, as a country, did not support the IRA; however, Irish immigrants living in the USA gave huge financial support.

After 9/11 the accounts of those who supported this terrorist group were seized by the USA and under the patriot act all those associated with the IRA were to be brought up on charges. The Patriot Act ended the stream of funds to the IRA thus ending its murderous activities.

Your welcome

Irish Americans who were allowed to do so by the America Authorities.

You are only a terrorist if America says so, otherwise you are a freedom fighter unless they are not sure in which case I think you become an insurgent, suggesting you have surged into the area in question along with a whole wave of humanity.

You're even dumber than I thought.
The Troubles happened in the '70s and '80s before Fox News came into existence in 1996.
Shouldn't you change your name from humanist to terrorist?

Yep, everyone is right - the USA because of its large population supposedly of Irish descent. Why do you want to know? Are you insinuating the USA is hypocritical?

I bet it is the US because the US does everything bad and america wants to force stuff on other countries and steal oil and they don't help countries unless they have oil and stuff they need. America is so bad they kill innocent children.
