HIS INJURY IS WORRYING.

HE TOO SUSPECTS WHETHER HIS CRICKET CAREER END.

Injury permitting, Michael Vaughan will return. He will first have to prove his fitness, and then score runs in either the first class game in England or in another country where there is a high standard of cricket.
No matter how well Flintoff, or laterly Strauss have down captaining England, Vaughan is possibly the best captain in world cricket and is therefore invaluable.
It is good that all the English batsmen are playing well at present, but it will be tough who to drop when firstly Flintoff comes back and then when Vaughan becomes available.

Micheal Vaughan had played important roles in achieving victories for England in the past and has made enough impact to convince us there's more of him in store for the future. As for his place in the team, nothing can be judged right now as it basically depends as to when or how he will return. The performance of other players in the team is also important as it is what will confirm his place in the side.

yh vaughan is unlucky to be an injured man. i think he would replace collingwood when/if he returns. i dont think his experience is needed at the world cup. u have to remember that he has only played about 60 odi's compare that to sachin tendulkar who has 360 odi played. so i think eng should just go with the players who are on form.

i think vaughan is not forgotten but injured. He helped england win ashes against aussies, thus no present english player can replace him .

his experience, talent and wits can help england thrash other teams.

He is not a forgotten man. He can get a place anywhere if he returns.
