Israel has an land area of 20,770 square kilometers (8,000 square miles) - this excludes the Golan Heights, West Bank and Gaza Strip. The Gaza Strip is no longer considered to be Israeli territory, the West Bank is disputed territory and only an interim agreement between the Israelis and Palestinians exists as to whose land it is.

The West bank covers an area of 5,700 sq km (2,200 sq m) so if you include this as part of Israel then the Israeli territory extends to 26,470 sq km (10,200 sq m).

The Golan Heights covers an area of 1,150 sq km (450sq m), this is Israeli occupied territory but claimed by the Lebanese.

Lebanon has an area of 10,230 sq km (3,950 sq m) excluding the Golan Heights.

The above are land areas, in addition Lebanon has 170 sq km (65 sq m) of territorial waters and Israel has 440 sq km (170 sq m) of territorial waters.

As a rough guide Israel is about twice the size of Lebanon.
