You have to factor each of the numbers out.
9 8 7 is already prime
3/3 2/4
2/2/2

In this case you can just multiply 9 by 8 by7, but if it was

6 7 8 = 504
2/3 prime 2/2/2

to find the LCD 2^3 times 3 times 7=168

The least in this treo of numbers is 7. If it is or not the least common denominator depends upon the numerators of the fractions and if each are divisible by 7. Ask your math teacher to demonstrate again for you how this works.
