If you have an infection, then you can use over the counter medication: Monistat, Vagisil are the more common ones that go directly into the vagina. If you want an oral medication, then call the doctors office and ask for Difflucan. That is the only things that should be used. Do not douche! If you have an yeast infection, douching can make it worse, not better.

monostat seems to be popular among women who get yeast infections. you can find other products in any drug store. if you don't know where it is just ask a pharmacist.
