The Omen - either one - was a great scary movie. Also, Pulse & The Descent both look like they'll be pretty scary. I thought Signs was a great scary movie, as is Sleepy Hollow! the Exorcist was great, Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte is really good, Psycho is classic horror, check out any of the Universal Monsters pix, they're oldies but goodies! Make up some popcorn, settle in & be prepared to get scared!!!

It's a black and white classic and British, but "Night Must Fall" is utterly scary. There are no creepy special effect monsters, but there is a real monster in the form of a serial killer and he seems like a very pleasant person. This is a chilling movie.

The scariest is the original Texas Chainsaw massacre. Very creepy, unlike the remake with little miss hotpants.

The two best that I've seen, and the only ones that have ever scared me are The Blair Witch Project and the original The Shining (NOT the new one).

Try John Carpenter's "The Thing". It's a little old, but if you can find it, it's really a creepy movie. My personal favorite. Who ever thought Antarctica would be so scary?

Well, there are the "classics" like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, etc...

Hellraiser isn't too shabby if you want to get freaked out or scared whatever you want to call it. Hostel wasn't scary, just had lots of gore and lots of boobs. The Exorcist isn't half bad either.
