I took Maths and English having studied psychology initially at GCSE level.
You need Maths because there is a great deal of statistics involved and English because you have to write a lot of reports.

At GCSEs the following subjects are compulsory:-
English Literature
English Language
Mathematics
A Language (usually French or German)
2 Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a mixture of the 3, in which you'll get 2 grades)
Humanities (Geography, RE, History, Business Studies, if your school offers them Sociology, Psychology, Law)
Arts (Art, Textiles, Home Economics, Music, CDT)
At A-level I would pick a mix like English Lit, Geography, Sociology/Psychology and Business Studies

I presume you mean yr 9 options. If that is the case it won't really matter what you choose as you don't get enough choice at that stage. I'd suggest you take the things that you like the best and so will do the best in. You can do psycology at uni with a whole variety of different a-levels so it doesn't really matter what you choose now you won't be burning your bridges.

Depends whats offered at your school. Health and Social care if they offer it would be very useful. And of course psychology if they offer it at that level. English would be good too, considering that you may well have to touch upon writing which deals with mental health themes, or have to study the personal work of writers, poetry etc, which can be very interesting when looking for themes and patterns etc. It gives you a glimpse into the writers mind. Good Luck

Is this for GCSEs? If it is, pick a good spread of subjects and make sure you include the ones you like, and the ones you're good at. You've got a few years left before you should worry about it - don't limit your options now. You never know, you could change your mind about your career....

As you have put this is Primary & Secondary Section, it will be for GCSEs. The most useful are:
Biology
Mathematics
English
History
Economics and any other similar arts or social science subjects.
Obviously subjects like Maths and English are compulsory, but I have included them as you will need a good grade in them.

make confident you want each of those that you're taking. in case you commence to unlike one substitute promptly. we are able to in straightforward words take 3 in our college, i'm now in 3 hundred and sixty 5 days 11 and that i took Drama and French, i began to dislike French and at the same time as i ultimately determined i did not like it i could not substitute it, so I had to stay with it for 2 years. So make confident you opt for properly. P.E and wellbeing and Social in good structure at the same time nicely so that they should be reliable at the same time and merely make confident you really favor to take the different 2. reliable success x
