Here's why. The hamster on the wheel has long been a metaphor for the working mind. Hence, when someone does illogical things we say "His hamster must have fallen off the wheel". Hamster Wheel Productions implies movies of great thought and insight.
Plus, just think of the great logo and animation you could design and produce for the opening credits. It would rival Tristar's famous flying horse or Columbia's lady with the torch! (Okay, maybe not, but it'd beat RKO's sparking radio tower. LOL)
