Depends a little bit on what the leader is leading. If a company then:
1) technical knowledge of the industry he/she operates in
2) communication skills
3) empathy. This is now particularly important because humans are often the company's most important resource.
4) energy/initiative
5) vision/decisiveness. No time now for dawdling, industry moves too fast.
