Some nice voile's. Nothing too heavy as that will ruin the affect. It also depends on what you want it to look like. I would say voile's they aren't too dear look much better than nets and they do block a lot of sun out. They are all I have up at mine and my babies bedroom, My boys had to have blinds as voile's are too girlie!!!!. That's a idea have you thought of Venusian blinds ( sorry about spelling but spell checker doesn't even know what I am on about. I mean the blinds that hang straight down)in cream they look lovely in patio windows. Happy shopping :-)

depends if you are wanting light blocked if the doors are in secluded area that neighbours cant see in.
My doors have one curtain that covers the doors and so gets pulled to one side so you need to decide if you want middle parting or single curtain.
just find nice curtains in scheme you want and like i said depending on privacy go for either voile or thick lined depending what purpose you need the curtain

My personal choice would be vertical strip blinds. I think that heavy old fashioned curtains plus nets look naff in front of modern windows

If you actually use the doors, and would enjoy less wear and tear, as well as maintenance I suggest Verticles.
They can be purchased with attractive sleeve inserts, can work well in formal or casual situations, and quality verticles, are long lasting, easy to clean up, and operate, and even fully drawn on the door width, can be adjusted open to any degree you wish.

I used finely striped ikea tab-top sheer curtains on mine, on their tension wire fixing. They don't block the light and my garden isn't overlooked, so they're fine. Plus when they move with the breeze when the patio is open they're really pretty!

Depends on your decor... bamboo blinds are always a nice way to go let in light but allows for better privacy. bamboo blinds are wooden and decently priced.

I really like the filmy kind, because they catch the light too and brighten things up.
