Peace is simpler than war. But war , any war, just pick one, is all about money and power. There is no money or power in peace. It is a shame that all huge political decisions are based on $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

If we leave now sectarian violence and ethnic cleansing will begin to take place in Iraq. If we remove Israel the same would happen there. Millions will die. Then America will become the knew Israel and retain it's "evil" reputation amongst the Muslim extremists. The terrorists regimes need an "evil" opponent to hold there grip on power and will continue there terrorist activities 10 fold. That is a high price to pay for "temporary" peace.

Peace is never simpler than war. Not in the Middle East, not in marriage life, not in the matters that stir one's soul up. I see three reason for this problem:
1. Peace is the result of justice.
2. Which implies a great deal of work
3. And willingness to put aside one sided and immediate profit.

Wow, you are very misguided. Where do you get your info, leftest websites? Israel only has a small portion of the land that is RIGHTFULLY theirs to begin with. You CANNOT reason with terrorists, they always want more. They will be no peace until all terrorist and terrorist sympathizers are killed. Then maybe we could have peace.
As far as Iraq, we really messed up going in there. Iran should have been the real target. Unfortunately, now we have to see it through because if we leave now, terrorist will certainly take over.

I would say the idea of war is easier. You don't like someone? just take over their country and kill all their people until they are no threat. Peace requires compromise and no one wants to compromise. Peace is the answer but for politicians war is better.

my simple two-cent's worth... yes, peace would be much easier and a lot less complicated. unfortunately, if everyone thought the same, then it would make it a no-brainer. plus the fact that there are always people who benefit from war... and i don't mean the civilians who get caught in cross-fire nor the soldiers who wield the guns... these days, it would seem that those who have an interest in petroleum holds all the cards...

This is too simple, as too much of the world is generated by anger, greed and hate rather than peace and love. Ironically, people even "kill" in the name of "peace." Thus, fighting for peace is like copulating for virginity.

I think you better read about abram and his descendants in Genesis if you really want to understand where the fighting began.
If you are in a "free" country, like the USA, then you should thank a military veteran.
