Of course he should. He invaded and occupied another country that was no threat to the US. Remember Osama bin Laden hated Sadam Hussein almost as much as he hated us. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 or the terrorists. But now we have turned it into a terrorist breeding ground. Bush should be tried for stupidity at least.

No.

He definitely isn't a hero....

He is worse than Hitler? You are a moron. You're just a conflicted and screwed up in your thinking as the left-wing nutjobs bad mouthing him. The same guy responsible for racist policies against everything from Russians to 6 million Jews is comparable to Bush. Grow up and quit smoking crack!

As for holding people against the Geneva conventions, obviously crossstichkelly has never read the Geneva Conventions. What is going in GTMO doesn't violate Geneva conventions. American soldiers wear uniforms and are declared combattants. Jihadists wearing civilians clothes aren't part of a military, defense group or militia, and are therefore treated as "spys or saboteurs." Yeah GTMO is real harsh. Have you been there? I worked their for 15 months, it is a freaking country club for guys who would slit your throat if given the ooportunity. But go ahead, keep defending them blindly.

He doesn't even have the excuse they kept giving at Nuremburg--he wasn't "just following orders"--he was giving them. No one should be permitted to hold people in violation of the Geneva Convention (SURE they're not prisoners of war!) without being held to answer for it. I don't care if he's the president--if it were any other world leader holding Americans, he'd be screaming his head off!
