I suppose it depends on how you measure one culture’s superiority to another's. It seems quite obvious to me that Western values are better in almost every conceivable way to those of the East. How should you measure the success of a civilization?
Saying Arabic culture is equal to our own is akin to saying the West hasn't made any progress in three hundred years. Would you agree with this?

Obviously I'm referring to modern Arabic culture. I'm fully aware of the achievements of the east in the past.

Who is to ay a culture is inferior just because it has different standards? It might be in your eyes, but the same might be valid for them. Rating another culture by your own criteria will never solve anything.

Who is to say progress is the way to go. Maybe the Arabic culture does not want to change or grow. As for our values I would not stick my head out to high our American values are in deep question lately.
No I don't agree with you as an American I believe people and cultures have the right to be as they want, not pressured in to "Something better"
And who gives you the right to measure anything, anyway?

Im certain you may in case you could, however you would most effective fight a couple of arab countries, Egypt, Syria, Jorden, and PLO militia that can barely manage to pay for a condominium let on my own a good gun. Dont forget you couldnt beat Hezbollah. And you certainly not fought the armies of alternative muslim countries like Turkey, U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Iran,or Pakistan..... Why would you believe any race is inferior or superior, Egypt and Syria are grime terrible but you havent taken them out yet. And suppose me if Israel could have taken out all muslim nations, they might have finished it long ago.....

If we're going to refer only to the current Arabic culture as you made it clearer two minutes after posting your question, then I'd say that just by thinking of this type of questions you're bringing you own culture on a same footing as the Arabic. Which is fair: it's plain fair that you prove yourself that all the cultures are alike.

I really don't mind which culture is superior or inferior. I judge culture in different way. For example: Which country I would like to visit, because it has great history and places to show to the tourist. America for example is not very interesting to me. They don't have great or old history and it's similar to the western places. While Arab culture is very interesting, colorfully and has many things to show. The same is with China or Russia, or even Europe...

One culture isn't superior to another, just different based on upbringing. I don't agree with a lot of the ideas they value, but I'm sure they don't like some of mine, either.

I won't shove my values down their throat, and I won't accept theirs as a way of my life.

As far as the success of a civilization, I would consider one that's been around for a couple thousand years to be rather successful, whether I agree with its' teachings or not.

Arabs once ruled over a huge empire extending from China to Spain. While Arab scientists were engaged in a huge effort to improve the quality of life through their discoveries and works in all walks of life, Europeans were then dying of lack of hygiene. In fact, Arabs laid the foundations for modern science and culture. Take time to read a bit about the great contributions of Arabs.

Many studies have shown that in general and curiously given the apparent state of some societies and countries, any society on the whole believes itself to be superior to other cultures and societies.

People tend to look upon the benefits of their own society and the negative aspects of others when making these subjective judgements.

I think that is stupid of us or anyone else for that matter to try and compare our culture to a 6000 years old culture. Values???? What values are those that would push us to help a state to kill innocent civilians in the Middle East? Principles???? What principles do we have??? Spend our lives running after money with little or No spiritual value???? I think we can’t even call what we have “Culture”!!!

im helpful you're able to in case you need to, yet you need to in hassle-free terms combat some arab worldwide places, Egypt, Syria, Jorden, and PLO protection rigidity which could fairly discover the money for a house no longer to point a solid gun. Dont overlook you couldnt beat Hezbollah. and you not at all fought the armies of different muslim worldwide places like Turkey, U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Iran,or Pakistan..... why could you think of any race is inferior or greater, Egypt and Syria are airborne dirt and dirt undesirable yet you havent taken them out yet. And have faith me if Israel would have taken out all muslim worldwide places, they could have achieved it some time past.....
