The Sims 2 pets is an expansion pack fro the p.c game but is also a separate game for all consoles except the Xbox, sorry to say this but the Sims 2 pets is an association of Sony computers, and xbox does not have no current deal with Sony at the moment, also from a message further up, Xbox is getting to old now, but still that is no reason to not release it on xbox as PlayStation 2 is older.Maybe in the future xbox may bring it out...fingers crossed!

GS: Okay. Why isn't there an Xbox version? I mean...there's a GameCube version!
RH: Well, it was a long decision and obviously the Xbox 360 is having a fantastic year, and we just looked at how it would be this holiday season, standing up against what is going to be a great holiday season for the Xbox 360, and given our current-gen focus it didn't quite make sense. Obviously we look forward to making 360 versions in the future.

Because the Sims 2 Pets is an expansion pack only. Meant for the upgrading the PC version. The xbox game is an entirely different concept, and the xbox itself cannot upgrade games by expansions.

Sims PC is competely different to Sims Xbox, Pets is for the PC version of the game. Which is more complex, and cool.
