Well, travel, or relocation, ain't the answer anyway. Where ever you go you're going to take you along and the restlessness just continues in a new place. What you're looking for is a little serenity, and it's something you're going to have to get up off you duff and look for. Some people find it in a new job, or volunteer work, a hobby, religion, going back to school part time, hell, study auto repair. You've just got to find something that will absorb you (and that's not necessarily easy). Once you do, though, you'll wake up one morning and wonder where you discontentment went. Good luck, kiddo. I spent years dealing with just what you're going through. It's miserable.

Do volunteer work, help others who might not have a decent enough life in the first place.

Educate yourself some more, or go out and have fun. There's plenty to do, you just need to get out of the grind of monotomy

Take your absolute best friend, and move to another state, where your atleast 14 hours away from everything you know. This way your atleast away from life but still have someone you can count on. It made me a lot happier.

I find someone I like or love and give them a playful tickle....which has never failed to keep me out of restlessness or boredom.

I usually do something like change my hair cut or color,
move my furniture around,
or plant some flowers outside.

Sometimes a change of scenery is right in your own back yard!
