I've been on Songs of Praise and local tv both being interviewed by the great "Fred the weather Man" and in the audience of local heroes programme.
The latter programme didn't change my life, but the money my nominee was awarded went towards improving the life of some children from difficult backgrounds.

How do you mean? Financially? Career wise? Socially? Did it go to my head?
The answer would be yes, I suppose to all of these.
Though the initial novelty wears off, and to be honest it just becomes a job like any other.
I have to be evasive regarding what programme as I must protect my anonymity. That is something that has changed drastically, the price of fame is the loss of your right to privacy.

Yes:
First time in the background when a politician was in town being interviewed. I was bunking off school and my teacher saw it!
Second time I was interviewed for the "And finally" segment at the end of the news.....My pet pig had had a litter of really cute piglets. My g/f had just dumped me and as soon as it went out she came grovelling back heh heh!
Third time I was in LA and was picked to sit at the front in the audience of the Jimmy Kimmel show.
