At least politically, he's her meal ticket. It seems her political aspirations outweighed her outrage at his behavior.

Women are looked down upon for being unmarried (never married or divorced). In our society, it is better to be with a cheater (or beater or otherwise undesirable man) than to be alone. Our whole system fosters low self-esteem and lowering standards to conform to how others think we should be. If she has any hope of ever seriously running for the White House, she can't do it as a divorcee.

She's piggy backing off his status and fame to put it bluntly. They both should have been in prison years ago. Some of the people that crossed them were found dead by shooting them self in the back of the head twice or falling asleep on a railroad track and getting run over by a train. They make Bonny and Clide look like saints.

It wasn't a real marriage, it was a political marriage. They were to help each other to become presidents.
They had one child, just for looks. Bill has made several remarks about Hillary being gay and very, very masculine.
