I would say MSN, i fond Yahoo a bit slow, especially when you swirch on the pc, it takes ages, msn is very quick

There shouldn't be a great deal of difference in quality between the three - such factors are entirely based on your internet connection, webcam, graphics card and its drivers - in that order. Naturally your processor and memory can make a difference.
Happily, as almost all videoconferencing IM's are free, you can try them all and see what works best for you.
As an aside, I don't actually have a webcam, but when / if I do get round to it, my choice would have to be the Logitech QuickCam® Pro 5000, or possibly Phillip's SPC900NC/00
The logitech has fun software if you like that sort of thing, while the Philips has the better frame rate.

actually i msn sucks in these things, skype used to be much better, but in recent times it also started to suck, i would go with something different, get the videoplayer vlc from www.videolan.org with this software, which is also an excellent mediaplayer with almost all codecs included, can also stream files or from devices, such as ur webcam, u can use a wizard which can be found in the menu, the easiest solution is to stream to http, just select input and stream type, then all the other side has to do is get vlc to and open a network stream, choose http and put in this url http://your_ip:8080 and the stream runs, u can find no better alternative quality wise

I have found skype to be excellent in terms of sound quality ,couldn't fault it
don't know too much about additional bundles but my advice would be download it and give it a try ,wont cost you anything to do that

We are working in Lithuania and all of us are using Skype
No problems day or night
