I am not ashamed to be American , it is not the fault of most Americans that this chimp in office is a greedy , power hungry self righteous pig ,but I am ashamed of this administration and anyone who still supports this chimp in office, Bush and his administration do not have our best interest at heart and they never did , more and more Americans are suffering everyday due to this administration, they are loosing job's, they are loosing health care , they are loosing their homes , the small business man is loosing his company . The blue color worker is truly the back bone of this country ,but instead of this administration making things more favorable for us they are giving all the break and incentives to big business (Corporate America ). When will Corporate America and this administration see that those of us that they treat as beast of burden are in fact more valuable then they themselves are , if not for those of us that perform these tasks , where would their companies be , your sure not going to see all these suits come down from their ivory towers and perform the tasks we do , god forbid if they had to get their hands dirty and most of them would not know how to do the job anyway , they are paper pushes nothing more, they know how things are supposed to look on paper but not how things are really done. Corporate America needs to show us more respect and compassion as well as recognizing our value because we are the key to their success. If something does not change soon the conditions for the real working people in this country are going to be no better then some third world country , with the cost of living sky rocketing everyday and the pay scale being what it is, in comparison we make less today then we did 51 years ago. I guess I got a little off track here about the topic , I'm sorry but I am more concerned about what is taking place right here in our own back yard , not only is this administration screwing people around the world they are screwing us as well.

There is no need to ashamed to be American. In fact this is an opportunity for all free thinking Americans to stand-up against the unlawful and immoral actions of the administration. It's times like this when people real colours are shown and heroes emerge. So, don't listen to the feeble minded fools who tell you to leave the country because you disagree with the crimes against humanity that the administration is committing. They don't even appreciate on of the fundemental principles that makes (made) America such a great place.

Take back your country. I'll be supporting you from the other side of the pond.

No, I don't think shameful is the correct word. I am proud to be an American, but I do not think the current administration is doing good by the world at all. They are hurting America's position as a world leader and causing many nations not to trust America. And I agree that there are some places that I would not want to admit to being an American, however, I hope this all changes with the next administration.

i do not have many unique insights into the Obama administration that i will call "my own". maximum of my recommendations and reviews are broadly held with the help of others with their eyes open. couldn't you ask an similar lame question about democrats? Or are you suggesting that democrats have not fallen lower than the media spell dished out 24/7 with the help of the likes of NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, ny situations, MoveOn, MediaMatters, Huffington, NPR, DailyKos, Saturday evening stay, and any type of Hollywood political observers. And that's only a partial record. You men elected this guy utilizing an similar theory procedure you employ at the same time as vote casting for a contestant on American Idol. It replaced right into a popularity contest worth of a intense college type President. you've were given a large type of nerve and hypocrisy suggesting that democrats are proof against the mass hysteria that you're for sure nonetheless laboring lower than.

What's worse than that is the way we Americans are losing our will to fight back against this mad man Bush. I looked up in the sky yesterday, and their they were again, Chemtrails. I swear to my god people you must look up in the sky once in a while to see them, they are a major factor in what's keeping Americans complicant and unable to speak up about everything that is going on here. We a re slowly losing our will to fight this thing, but we must! HAARP and the ultra low fm radio waves are guiding us all along this path of indifference, If you really think I'm nuts look on the web, you will find plenty of proof, on this subject. Floride breaks down the will also, and we are getting more floride in the products we use everyday, hell the stuff is poison, and we are allowing our government to feed it to us like babies, we aren't even resisting , we must fight this thing, if you can honestly tell me you don't feel your will being undermined and your ability to make personal judgements ,deflated, well your gone, your worthless, see a phyco, because you've lost it. Many have already, many more to go!

You should stand up and be proud of your country. Don't listen to what is being broadcast over the news networks. I have a lot of American and British military friends, and what they tell me is completely different from what I hear on the news. I also believe them because they are my friends and have no reason to lie to me.

My country used to control more than a third of the world in their empire. (Now we are a nation of chicken shits who are to afraid to say what we think because we are scared of hurting someones human rights, but that's another story.) A lot of people hate me because I am English, and what my country did. But I am EXTREMELY proud of being English and I wouldn't change it for anything. I will say the same to any American who writes shite like what you have written. How do you think a soldier feels when he/she puts their life on the line everyday to protect you, when you don't even appreciate it?

You are an embarrassment, and if you think like that, maybe you should move to Iraq and live there. You wouldn't last 30 minutes.

I am not ashamed at all you arrogant pansy. If you are so ashamed and scared give up your citizenship and move to Europe with all the other arrogant pansies.

I live overseas, travel constantly to Muslim countries and don't think its dangerous at all. I had a conversation in Cairo the other day with three Egyptian men who said what the U.S. is trying to do in the Middle East is a good thing, just misunderstood. Their biggest complaint was out support to governments such as Egypt's for the sake of stability.

No, most intelligent people realize that Americans are in general good, decent people. If not a little lazy and a lot arrogant.

They realize that the administration is to blame. They might ask you why? Why did you vote for that fool?? But that's probably it. Except I wouldn't travel to the mideast...that would be scary. I would tell them I'm a Martian.

It took me 35 years to start to respect the flag again after what was done to it by the government during the Vietnam war. Then Bush starts to use it as toilet paper, Shame, damn right I feel shamed and the sooner these idiots are turned out of power, the better.

Standing up for what a majority of this country believes in is hardly shameful.

Though I do disagree with his approach at times, many like myself still feel his intentions are in our best interests. We are not in the business to let other countries dictate our security anymore after the events on 9/11. Years of ignoring the threats and not taking them seriously is what led up to that. Just like Japan did with Pearl Harbor, terrorists around the world have woken a sleeping giant.
