I took a preg test and it was neg last night. This morning it read positive (the other line showed up.) I have been spotting for the past few days...It seems to have stopped now. I have about a 40--50 day cycle and I am on day 41. I ask this because the exact same thing happened last time I was pregnant. The line didnt show up till the day after because my preg hormones were not high enough due to it being so early in the pregnancy. Any insight would be WONDERFUL! Thanks!

No. It says on the box NOT to read them after the 3 or 5 minutes. All of them will show 2 lines the next day. If you think you may be then take one again in 10 more days. This happened to me so that is why I know. I have a 22 month old and when I took the test for him the second line was there VERY quickly. When that happens, Then you will know you are. Good luck either way and I hope you get the outcome you want.

You should not depend on the results of that test to be accurate. Wait a few more days then take another test the first time you go to the bathroom in the morning-this is when your HCG levels are at the highest. You must read the result within 3 to 5 minutes.

I was told you should always try and take the test in the morning as your hormones are higher then. If the test said positive it is very likely you are pregnant you very rarely get a false positive go to the docs tho if you are unsure

Go get you another test tonight then take it FIRST thing in the morning.This will most likely tell you. It would probably be best to wait a few days though so the hormones can multiply. But what ever day you decide, take it FIRST thing in the morning.
