I've tried pop up blockers but they don't work, and sometimes I get like twelve windows opening at a time, which then freeze my computer. How can I ban sites like everfreegift.com and ad.yieldmanager.com, the two worst ones?

Click start (extreme left corner) and click on control panel from the menu. another window will open which would have many icons, from all of the icons click "internet options", another small window will open as a result of the click. Click on "security" (at top of the menu window). in security click "Restricted sites" and then click "sites" to add the unwanted sites so that they can never open on your computer.
Thank you! is my answer the best? is it?

Try an anti-virus product like Norton, on this you can add certain sites to a ban list, may work.
