I am moving to Maryland... Near Andrews Air Force base, and am looking for a nice, safe, town to live in. I heard there was a very large crime rate near DC and Baltimore, so I was looking for a small safe town that would be great for kids.....

I live in Maryland and honestly it is not safe around Andrews Air Force base. How far are you willing to travel? Ellicott City, Columbia, Linthicum, Severna Park. None of these except Linthicum are small towns but they are safe and family friendly. You can e-mail me if you have more specific questions and I will help if I know the answers!!

There's a website, I'm not sure what it is anymore, but it gives you all the statistical information you need to know about a town. It will give you a list of cities to choose from and then it will tell you how many violent crimes were committed in the last year, how many white collar crimes, car thefts, all that sort of thing.
You might actually be able to find it one of the ApartmentGuide-type sites, where you can actually look up the Cost of Living index in that town, what a comparable salary would be to what you are earning now, all kinds of stuff. Very useful.
By the way, I live in one crime-ridden city, Tampa. I've lived here for four years and have never had an incident, nor been close. Even if you do wind up living in a higher-crime area, there are still areas within that area that are relatively decent.

I lived in Boulder,CO i assumed it grow to be an incredibly secure city.... no person grow to be very propose to me .... Of the 6 years i lived there no longer something shootings relatively happend........ Yeah there grow to be shooting murders yet everytown has that yet Boulder had great police and everytihng... however the different city I relatively have comprehend theory.... in case you go with to renowned something with regards to the city circulate to the internet website.
