This is a great debate! Personally, I think it's a fat suit but not because fat people can't do those gymnastic moves - they could if they had enough speed and upper body strength (plus, the floor he's on is heavily sprung). It's just that the amount of intensive practice needed to get to that level would mean most of that fat on him would be converted to muscle, so he wouldn't look like that.

I think he's wearing a fat suit. Me and my hubby have had this discussion too! We reckon that the suit doesn't move properly when he lands. If he was that size he would have to have very powerful muscles to obtain enough height to do the somersualts and things. Before anyone has a go at me, I'm not being horrible, just commenting that he would have to have a huge amount of power as his weight would be a lot more than that of a normal gymnast.

definitely a fat suit.
And as for you J or whatever you call yourself, why is it that you have to make fun or fat people. They have feelings just as much as you do and I am sure by the way you responded to this topic that they have more consideration for those who are different from themselves.
Alot of big people have problems with their weight either through some kind of illness or they are just big (genticly of course), but then again some people are big jus for the sake of eating etc....
So lay off.
But that guy in the advert definitely a fat suit.

To be honest, I believe that he is wearing a fat suit - his complexion at the end of the ad looks like those programmes that make celebs look older or a different sex.
Those sort of moves can be performed by the chubbier person though, just look at Martial Arts legend, Sammo Hung. He has always carried a few pounds, but because he learnt the moves as a child, he has always been able to do incredible stunts and his poise and balance puts the rest of us to shame.

I'm with you, I reckon it's a fat suit, there is just something about the way he moves and the size of his head that makes me think skinny person in a fat suit.

He has to be wearing a fat suit, his arms are to smooth. Take a look at the advert again on the following link. I always said it was a suit but my wife wasn't convinced.

I've seen it, but always forget which brand it's for. Think it's Skoda, but always comes as a surprise when the car drives on at the end. Seems to me that the ad guys came up with that idea for another brand and then shoehorned it into a Skoda ad....

He couldn't really by that overweight and do those moves. His knees wouldn't be able to take it! It's a fat suit, so you win the argument. Your hubby owes you a meal in a fancy restaurant.

I think it is a fat suit. Now adays it is amazing what they can do they have prosthetic chins etc hence why his face looks chubby too. If he was that fat there would be no ways he could be that agile.
