ok so my friends are wierd and we are having an all girls weekend beach party and they are having a hat contest i need some cool ideas to make a cool hat that will win..lol. i would prefer to wear a baseball cap but i am open to all suggestions.thanks!!!!

A baseball cap would limit the amount of things you could do. Try a sun hat with a wide brim, more room to put stuff.
Since it's at the beach, maybe a beach theme. Go to your local craft store and look at all the stuff there. I'm sure you can find something. Maybe little fish, dolphins, whales, seashells type of things. Beads you can sew on around the brim to dangle down an inch or so all the way around. Some colorful fabric paint and theme stamps or stencils. Some appliques to glue on.
Just walk in and tell the sales person what you are looking for and she can point in you in the right direction.
