If (s)he don't leave you alone, you can go to the police, or hire a private eye. Anyway, i want you to know: it is not me :)

It could be someone from your past, or could be the husband trying to "fish" for information to see if you would be as morally screwed up as he is. My vote would be the second.
That's a shame that you turn the other way. Don't allow your husband to walk all over you. I don't know you, but I do know that you should have more respect for yourself and your child(ren) than to allow him to run around on you. Take a stand.
As far as the mail, if you can answer the letter, let the writer know that you aren't interested and to stop the harassment.

Find out his IP address & if necessary request the police or a private investigator to trace him out.
If you're using a Yahoo email account, you can find out his IP address by clicking "Options", then go to "General Preferences", select "Show all headers on incoming messages" & then click "Save." Then open one of his emails & check "Received" in the header to get the IP address. However he might be smart enough to use a program to cover up his real IP address or send you emails from a cybercafe. Don't delete his emails when they come in because you need evidence if you wish to file a police report. When you have received a dozen or more emails, email him a reply such as " I've traced your IP address & will submit it to the police for investigation as to who you are" & he'll get cold feet & stop sending you more emails if he has been doing that from his home or office.

Doesnt sound like you were in peace witha philanderer! Be grateful someone cares about you enough to risk being caught. It should make you feel good. It's probobly one of your hubby's buddies doing your hubby's dirty work. Just read, relish, and release (shred) the letters.

Change your email address. Contact your ISP and see if they will give you the information. They probably won't, but it's worth a try. If they are trying to blackmail you, tell the police or hire an attorney. Tell them it doesn't matter what they do, you'll weather the outcome.
Good luck.

File a police report then go to your internet provider and have them block this person and tell them that you are seeking charges and not to lose the info

Hire a private detective and try to find out who's doing it. Then you can go to court and get a restraining order.

Doesn't sound like an unknown person, sounds like someone who knows you all too well.
A private investigator may be able to help
