Snakes are not too irrational, I fear them and most people do. But fear of clowns is the big kahuna. I developed this fear when I was a kid, when a toy called jack in the box was given to me as a prank by my cousin. When the clown popped out of the box, the weird makeup and corpse paint like face color gave me the creeps. Maybe now not much but I still feel weird everytime I see a clown. I composed a song called "Humorous Murders" which is about an escaped mental ward patient, disguised as a circus clown to avoid being caught but developed an appetite for brutal and violent murders.

Irrational! HAH! Fear is fear and even though that spider is millions of times smaller than me I am scared to death of him. Which by the way makes no sense as I had a pet trantula at one time. Maybe I just like the furry ones?

I am irrationally afraid of a type of jelly fish known as a Portuguese Man o' War. I read a description of this creature when I was a kid, and the jelly fish is so deadly that if a scuba diver accidentally swam through its long tentacles, they would be dead before they had time to swim to the surface.

Spiders and the fear of being buried. I have gone as far as making sure all my loved ones know that if I should pass on before any of them I AM NOT to be buried. The idea of being in a box in another box with 6 feet of dirt on top of me scares the hell out of me. Keep me on ice until my tomb with above ground crypt is built.

It's not irrational to be scared of things which can genuinely harm you or of accidents happening, and there's a difference between hating or being disgusted by something and fearing it.

My biggest fear is for the safety of my children, I fear for them all the time, I want them to be safe and remain safe, I worry that one day one of them could have a nasty accident, and I hate even thinking about it to be honest, which is why I try not to.

Food and bugs have always fascinated me..irrationally afraid of being caught in a very high place with no way down... makes my skin crawl just thinking of that.

I used to have a weird recurring dream when I was a kid about crunching light bulbs with my teeth. Still slightly wary of changing light bulbs in case I get the urge to crunch them...
