Are "Paranoid Android" (Radiohead), Trillian (messenger solution) and "Babelfish" (Altavista) inspired on this Douglas Adams book, or are they?

paranoid android and babelfish are, the other one I never heard of.

I wouldn't say 'inspired' by, I'd say 'nicked' from ... As there's no reference to the origin !
