As high as you can comfortably walk and stand in. If you aren't used to wearing heels, start with a low heel and work your way up. Practice doing all kinds of things at home in them to get used to wearing heels. I don't think there is a maximum height here. It's a matter of personal preference and comfort.

I think heels with skinny jeans are hot. Depends on the outfit and how high a heel you can handle. What is the outift for?
I don't think it really matters how high the heels are.

Usually quite high heels will look sexiest and best, but will be the most uncomfortable! ;) Low-high, it's all good in my opinion.
