Six ways to EASE Period Pains:

Get the right painkiller

Ibuprofen is good, because as well as killing pain, it is an anti- inflammatory which works by decreasing the levels of prostaglandins, which cause the contractions that are often the reason for painful periods.

Take vitamin E

Doctors in Iran found that teenage girls who were given vitamin E daily experienced less severe pain.

Go on the Pill

The Pill can ease period pains by preventing ovulation. Without ovulation, the lining of the uterus remains thin and levels of prostaglandins are lower.

Take exercise

Exercising during your period increases blood flow to the uterus and helps loosen the muscles in your abdomen, thighs and back. It also causes you to release endorphins, the body's natural painkiller.

Get warm

Warmth relaxes muscles, so you may get relief from a hot-water bottle or a bath.

Change your diet

Essential fatty acids, vitamin B6 and magnesium have all been shown to reduce period pain. Eat nuts, pulses, oily fish and whole grains. Cut down on refined carbohydrates and animal proteins

Right now try to calm down if you've already swallowed some pills;lie down and use a hot water bottle on the abdomen. Then,PRAY so that that pain can be relieved by HE WHO BORE ALL OUR PAINS ON THE CROSS-JESUS CHRIST !May God hear and answer your prayer.I too have sent a prayer to my God for you 'coz I know that pain.
Antinflamatory drugs are helpful especially if taken a few days before the menstrual flow comes, when you have that feeling of "fulness"-Pre-menstrual tension.
Drink a lot of water like 3Lt per day and always keep warm during your menstrual periods.
Talk to your mom or an older sister about the pain;it helps just knowing someone understands.
Arrange to see a gynacologist soon.

Intense period cramping may be a sign of a condition called "Endometriosis". This can easily be diagnosed by an ultrasound examination of your pelvic organs - uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes. The period cramping is intense because endometrial implants may be in your ovaries, fallopian tubes, posterior cul de sac, etc. Pain from endometriosis may or may not be present during menstrual periods alone. Try Dolfenal tabs, one of the most effective medications for menstrual pain. You may want to consult your gynecologist however if these symptoms persist or occur again.

You could try a heating pad on you. A hot bath. Some Tylenol or Ibuprofen if it is around the house. You might want to call a parent and ask where there is anything you could take. I hope you feel better.
