Brilliant!! It was actually a remake of an early sixties Canadian show. Basically Lassie without the whimpering, and with a farewell scene at the end of each episode, as the hapless mutt buggered off somewhere else for next week.
the dog was called LONDON in real life! Let's hope he's stopping and making new friends. It did make me snivel a few times though

Well, don't forget what the Littlest Hobo always said:
There's a voice,
that keeps on calling me.
Down the road,
is where I'll always be.
Every stop I make,
I'll make a new friend.
Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again.
So, gone he has! Still, wouldn't mind seeing someone repeat them, I did love that show!

Maybe tomorrow he'll want to settle down, until tomorrow he'll just keep moving on.

I think he's just travelling and going on adventures. This program has a cosy memory of childhood for me. Thanks for reminding me!
p.s. I'll join the campaign! Coz I know my son will love it. How the world comes full circle!
