Well, there are quite a few things to consider. First of all, how old are you? Women's fertility drops dramatically after age 24 or 25. With so many women waiting until their 30s to have babies, the price they pay is decreased chance of getting pregnant.
Next, try to time sexual intercourse for near your ovulation time. For most women, this happens about 14 days after the 1st day of bleeding of your period. If you want to be more accurate, you need to take your temperature every day to calculate your exact ovulation time.
Also, try to lie flat on your back for 20-30 minutes after sex, or longer if you have time. Immediately after ejaculation, semen "thickens up" inside the woman's body. After 15-20 minutes, it becomes more liquid and the sperm can swim more easily. And of course, it's a good idea to go see a doctor so that your husband's sperm can be checked, and to see if there is anything wrong inside of you.
