Big can have impact, get noticed immediately, but we can't have everything like that, if everything was big, things would have to get bigger and bigger, and the world wouldn't be big enough to take it all.
Small can be good too, especially if you want to put it in your pocket or handbag and carry it around with you.
Sometimes subtlety can have a longer lasting effect. And be more elegant and sophisticated.
Some things are definitely better small, like wasps and flies. In fact it would be better if they were even smaller.

I believe that you can be the only one who can care enough to call it like this. it is all about you....so what you say goes...for me small is sometimes, pertaining to whatever the dilemma is or situation small can be better such as a traffic viola tin....in somethings we want large and i mean really large....to me getting he point is LARGE.....wherein others my not see it this way...how thoughtful of you to put yourself out here for the reactions of those answering....very evocative question. One meant for the mind absolutely. In many things I have to agree with yu on the Big thing.......however hon, it is your call....no matter what I think or anyone else might......

A small monkey is a good pet, big ones get shot at by helicopters.
A small cake is less fattening but cannot be shared amongst many friends.
A big butt may seduce Sir Mixalot but a small butt fits more easily into clothes.
A big tv is more impressive but costs more than a small tv.
A big willy can be better than a small one but not always.

depends on what things. I seem to collect small versions of toys, I found a mini slinky the other day (too cute). But then I like a big comfy sofa or chair.
