im 1 year away from high school and i was wondering ... is it hard , i mean the work that you have to do.

i think its hard. u got different teachers, n freshman year is pretty touch. u dont know the school n u get lost n bigger guys beat u up cuz u dont know where ur going n ur squished in crowded hallways n feel even smaller--but it gets better! theres a hell lot more homework, n some days the teachers all give u homework, they treat u like adults n they dont care. its not like when ur in 6th grade they remind u to do a project. no, they give u the project n dont mention it again until the day its due. most teachers dont let u makeup homework, once u miss it, u get a 0. n doing all ur homework doesnt mean u'll pass, u gotta do good on ur tests n quizzes too. u also find out who ur true friends are n who's the town hoochie n all that. n never get stuck in the drama, its not worth it n wont matter 5 years from now. remember, all 4 years of high school r gonna depends on what u do with the rest of ur life. good luck dude!

hi, so u r gonna join high-school soon. great! well its not really hard. it depends how u take it. well the work load increases with each grade but if u do it side by side then its no problem. one can easily manage. in the higher classes like when u have to choose subjects, of course the work depends upon the type of subjects u've taken. besides u get to no so many things. u become responsible n grown-up. n kind of independant n experienced. n u get to no whats out there. i was a bit scared when i joined high school but was settled within a week. n believe me, i felt that high school's better than middle one. or better than ANY school, for that reason. now i'm in my eleventh grade n have got only one year ahead of me in my high school. i no i'll miss my high school days....
Anyway, u just enjoy ur high school days to the fullest n study hard but dont take any tension. u'll love it..

It differs for everyone. My high school years was the best for me because aside from the academic things that they teaches students there are also some extra curricular thing which you can choose to join. That is also the start of your adulthood and getting responsibilities little by little. Over-all, high school life is the best. Just don't pressure yourself too much. Good luck.

It's different for everyone. Personally, high school was a breeze for me. But then again, I was a straight A's honor student, and school has never been hard for me.
My brother has a tough time with it. He's in the remedial classes. :o) It really varies for every person.

actually when you get to you junior year....thats the hardest year ever!! for our school it is. lots of essays, tests, essay test, taking your last PSAT, alot of that.
