Tell her you're sick of pulling hairs out from between your teeth and you won't give her any more oral until she at least gets a trim.
You could offer to do it for her (carefully, of course), making it part of foreplay. And you could offer to shave yours first, to show her there's nothing wrong with it (pleasant side-effect: it makes your johnson look bigger).

I think that this 9 years have been not too honest from both sides... you should try to be honest with her telling her that maybe is time to make some changes you always wanted to talk about but you were scared of her reaction. tell her that women must trim or shave pubes especially after their period... u c the mentrual secretion (blood) clings to the 'hairs' & it that gives out an unpleasant smell around the region - therefore it's not advisable to do some head-ons...

It's not perverted... invite her to read Cosmo or other like minded magazines and she will see how common this is. I read something about it is now more common to "treat" this area of your body than not...
If she is willing, you could always shave her during some intimate time.. might make it more enjoyable!

I'd be making real sure you are not pushing her into doing something she just does not want to do. Is it really that important? You could be creating a very big problem here. I would think about it a little longer. Maybe ask her why she is hesitant?
