I take the plants to a shaded area during monsoons. What do I do when it rains intermittenly

well, i lost some plants that way and i even dont live in a monsoon region.. it just rained too much and the soil was muddy all the time.

i had to move the plants under roof - in my case i put them right next to a house under the overlapping roof where they were getting just enough light but no rain. i suggest that those plants that cant have soggy soil should be protected from rain, drainage is not enough, you need roof.

They should be O.K. .. If they have proper drainage to let water through the pots .. You May consider Building a " Roof " of sorts over them to block the majority of the rain .

no cactus rots easily if there is too much water.
