So what if you crave to read about crimes? Your just interested in how the criminal mind works, which has nothing to do with you being a good or a bad person. It's just your hidden interest, its exciting, intriging and best of all forbidden.

I've been literally obsessed with the Holocaust since I was about 12 years old. I've read tons of material on it; books, articles, studies, reports. And, I've been accused of having a morbid curiosity. But the real reason the episode has such fascination for me is that I want to know how, or why, modern, supposedly civilized people could so willingly participate in such atrocities. Maybe that's some of why you pour over true crime, to figure out what motivates someone to commit murder. Those things are almost beyond the comprehension of a sane human being.

Being a law-abiding citizen doesn't necessarily preclude a fascination with crime. Where do you suppose the really good profilers at the FBI come from? If you have the knack for it, then maybe such a career is in your future.

You and billions of others. It's not "freaky" to want to learn how a person could come to do such horrible things. Plus, If you are down about something in your life...realizing that there are people in this world, living through hell you can't even imagine,... makes you count your blessings doesn't it???

i'm a regulation abiding citizen and that i've got been abused by applying the police. they had a warrant to do a drug seek for the dwelling house around the corner. because of the fact they have been too stupid to ascertain the handle on the warrant, they kicked down my door and destroyed my dwelling house by applying busting holes interior the partitions and reducing open my fixtures. Then they arrested me and held me in penitentiary for 20 hours without charging me so as that i does no longer have the means to tip off the neighbor. It took me 4 years of courtroom cases to get the damages paid for. i might say that I surely have each and every reason to hate the police.

Because a lot of them are damn well written. Also the fact that it is a true event and not a trivial piece of formula writing with predictable plot twists. Some of the things that people do, why they do them and the environments they do these things in are amazing.

nothing wrong with it. Just a personal reading interest. My ex wife was into that stuff too. I personally like reading fantasy stuff. Does that mean I live in a fantasy world and believe in dragons and magic? No....it's just my way of escaping reality.
