I'd have to say wrong. Jim Carrey and Rowan Atkinson have very different comedic styles, particularly with respect to the Mr. Bean character. While Jim Carrey is a genious at facial expressions and very good with physical comedy, I can't picture him in a role that allows for virtually no talking. Bean is much more downplayed and it is really the situations he gets himself into that bring on the laughs.

Wrong! Mr Bean is Rowan Atkinson. Jim Carrey is Jim Carrey.

what?! thats just plain stupid. no one can replace the original Mr Bean aka Rowan Atkinson. Jim Carrey is funny at all, but there is no way he would do a good Mr Bean. Mr Bean has to be no one other than Rowan Atkinson.
