If the universe is constantly expanding, why can't I eat more pizza?

Good question! When I was 20 years old, I could wolf down probably 15 slices of pizza. Years later...now that I'm old and decrepit...I can't manage more than 2 or 3. I don't even do buffets anymore since I can't get my money's worth.

Maybe the universe is expanding but the amount of pizza remains constant...so there's less pizza per cubic light year...or whatever.
