Americans don't hate Russians unless they are narrow minded and not very worldly. Its the bad news media coverage and politicians (on both side) that try to brainwash their people in justifying what they do. People are the same all over the world, good & bad, friendly & hateful, etc. Its just the fanatics of politics & religion that create the problems.
If she loves you, being a Jew shouldn't matter (thats another problem with religion). If she loves her religion more than you, then you don't need to be second in her life. There are a lot more girls available who you could fall in love with would put you first and over religion. She may be Jewish and not take her religion very serious.
Her going with a white guy is a step up for her. There are alot of mixed couples around now that its no big deal and shouldn't make a difference.

It is 2006, the times have changed. you need to ask her if there is the possibility of being more than friends for you two. Americans do not hate Russians. At least I never heard of that. They may be cautious with any type of culture, until they know you, but definitely we don't hate Russians! Just ask her and see what she says. Maybe be friends for a while and then try dating.

it could be that she only sees you as a friend, and you have to be ok with that if that is the case. americans are idealists, and are of a mixed heritage, which includes russian background. but because of the cold war, yes, there is some mistrust, but not hate.black and white dosn't matter much here in america anymore, thank god. i'm wondering though, if you only met her last week, isn't that a bit too soon to call it love? maybe you are just enamored by her and will get over it. it has brought you here though, where you found out that americans don't hate russians. i hope you don't hate us either.
