hi
first of all what is your configuration
if it is ok then do some steps it will again work fast

1) start-run-(type)msconfig-in that go in start up and remove all unwanted items which are starting when computer starts

2) remove all items which are extra dfrom start menu which appears above programs in start menu by rightclick and delete

3) remove all start items again from start-programs-startup

4) go in mycomputer properties-advance-performance click on settings-advance-virtual settings and specify 1500 in minimum and 2000 in maximum it will increase the cache memory
and after doing all these stuff restart the system

5)keep the desktop in classic rather then windows xp desktop you can do this by rightclick on pdesktop-properties-and in themes change it to windows classic and please there should ne no wall paper
then lety me know
it will work suerly your system speed will be increased by 30 to 35 % and yes please if you have 128 mb ram upgrade it to 256 mb or 512 mb if you system is old

Perform a disk cleanup. Goto Start - > (-> All Programs if u r using Win XP or Win 2K ) Accessories -> System Tools - > Disk Cleanup. If u r using an older version, right click on the Internet Explorer (assuming u've Windows) and click on Properties. In the new window click on Clear History and then click on Delete Files, 'mem to check the option "Delete all offline content." This should work.

First, you aren't rubbish with computers just inexperienced.
Clean the junk from your pc with CCleaner. It's free and there is a tutorial to show you how to use it. And use it at least once a week!
http://www.ccleaner.com/

Download and install Spybot Search & Destroy - free too

Update the definitions and then press "immunize" . Run a scan for spyware that may be slowing down your pc and "fix" it ( ie delete it).

You can also download AdAware for free - you can use both together with no problems.

You probably have loads of junk on your hard drive and maybe several programs running at once - shut down programs you're not using, run a disk cleaner program, defrag too (if on a PC).
If you've got less than 512MB of RAM then that could also be a cause of slowness, buy more RAM to take it up to 1GB. Make sure you have at least 2GB of free hard drive space too - delete files you no longer need or burn them to CD to free up more space.

there are too many reasons for a slow computer to list.
it could be software, it could be malware, or even hardware. it could be because its old or broken, or just untidy.
as for not letting you post, try using Firefox as a browser. IE, opera, and mozilla all seem to have a problem with yahoo answers and 360.

First do a disk cleanup then a Disk Defragmentation. They always help with the running of the computer.

open os drive click windows folder --open prefitch folder select all files and delete.

above process will do it weekly once..
