The people of the USA should come together and sort out their own government for arming Israel the way it does. Are you a parent ? Have you ever had to sort out a dispute between two of your children ? Would you DISARM one of your children and hand a gun to the other ? You would not, would you ?! To be honest, it's none of any other countries' business. And despite the fact that maybe Israel cannot sort out their own problem (like a lot of other countries as well), they should nonetheless try to sort it out themselves without the interference of others.

Based on all the answers that I have read on this question, it is quite clear that half of the world do not have idea of what is going on or the problem of Middle East.

Let us give equal military power to all the middle eastern countries, I am very sure that the word terrorist will vanish from our dictionaries and their will be mutual respect and peace in the middle east.

Israel is not the problem. They are at war. No other countries should get involved.
The problem are the countries that support terrorists and the terrorists themselves. Shall i remind you of NY, London, Madrid, Bali, Mubay .... how many innocents died there ???? Israel is a country of brave people, their military has the moto of 'no man left behind' and they live by that. Good.

There is no way this problem can be sorted out by a third party.
Any intervention, support or prevention from outside will only enhance the problem.
It is down to Hizbollah and the Israelies. They must know this.
If and when they get tired and when thier leaders realize by themselves (it is important that they do that by themselves ) then they can come to the table and sign agreements and bury each others dead.

If this can happen in this century or in the next century - it will be welcome step in humanities progress.

None of them. Israel is defending itself. If you really watch what's going on, it seems Hezbollah was baiting Israel in to attacking in the first place, so they could martyr themselves and add more people to their cause. It's truly sadistic.

Why can't the Jews live in peace? Because they're bordered on all sides with Muslim haters. (No disrespect to non-militant Muslims.)

It won't matter unless the USA does the sorting. Any conclusions drawn by anyone will be ignored by Israel unless the USA is among them.
