Unfortunately, "universally romantic" = universally accepted, which I'm sad to say is probably not the case, 'cause there are WAY to many uptights in the world. Personally, I agree with some of the previous statements, it's not only beautiful and romantic, it can be very erotic and hot!

Why do they have to be young? I think seeing an old couple kissing would be more romantic. Or do you mean arousing? I believe men or woman should be able to kiss or cuddle where ever they feel the urge.

Yeah. I think Brokeback Mountain shown this beautifully. It was just about the love and the fact that it was two men wasn't an issue for the audience.

Yup, it sure is. I would rather see 2 guys in love kissing than a straight couple that just tolerate each other kissing.

I find two guys kissing or two girls kissing really adorable. When i see straight people kiss, i don't really see the passion behind it, so it doesnt do that much to me. it looks like they do it, because its a chore to them.

Compulsory heterosexism means that any movie with gay characters is a "gay film" whereas straight stories are "universal". Which is disgusting.
