The name is "The Mystic Warrior".

It was a T.V. mini series. The tape is beautiful to watch. The color is excellent with no commercials.

I know people want to see this again.

The book can be had for a few bucks, but nobody I know has this tape.

I wanted to duplicate it, and everything I looked up tells me that it has to be on the fast mode (2 hours, not the max. of six hours).

Any ideas? It's a wonderful made for T.V. movie.

My son's Dad has a system that converts VHS to DVD. Call your local electronic store and see if they have something like that. I don't know where he got it, but that might be worth looking into. He is converting his vast VHS collection to DVD, I am sure that many people are doing that so the machine may not be too pricey.

if you say it is a series and I am guessing you taped it on one tape as SLP or SP in any case you can not dub it over at the same speed, cause color and picture will deteriate .

your best bet is to get 2 hour tapes and do a episode at a time on a 2 hour tape at SP mode and once you got all the episodes taped then you can retape back down to SLP mode to a finial tape recorded to dvd is better if possible

find a reproduction service to transfer tape to digital so you can enjoy in the future w/o being tied to a vcr.

maybe the studio that owns the rights would be willing to sell them to you.
