Boston, MA or all of the NE is just beautiful at Christmas!!! Boston is decorated beautifully and there are Christmas shows at the theatre and lots to do - skating at the frog pond, shopping, museums - so much to do. It's just beautiful in Boston at Christmas - I love it!
Or, Disney World (this is my all-time favorite vacation spot for FUN). It's crowded at Christmas (according to all I read) but I went one year right after New Years and the decorations were still up - they were AMAZING! EVERYTHING is all decked out with Christmas and it's gorgeous. You can stay right in the park for under $100.00 per night at the All-Star, All-Sports, etc. Resorts and they are really fun for families. If you want a more upscale, adult-like resort you can try the Grande Floridian or the Contemporary - I've stayed at both and both are gorgeous!
