2+4 is therefore 11+22=33 !

Well, since 2+2 doesn't equal 22, and 1+1 doesn't equal 11, 2+4 could equal anything from 0 to infinity.

There is a difference...

that can read 2 + (plus) 2 which = (equals) 4, and 1 plus 1 which, of course equals 2, and 2 plus 4 equals 8.

Or it could be read as 2 and 2 is 22 (twenty-two), 1 and 1 is 11 (eleven), and 2 and 4 is twenty-four.
