Pride and money . Long time ago perhaps these are synonimous. Now, its no longer the case. Chuckle.

You can have PRIDE when you work in a reputable multimillion dollar company . The downside is, that company may pay you peanuts. Why? Cus they have thousands of people like YOU workin 4 them. So BIG PRIDE SMALL MONEY.

The way i look at it, PRIDE does NOT put food on the table.Money does. Once your parents see the amount of money you donate to them, they wont care even if you work as dairy farmer.

I took my present job because of pride and the idea of getting some money. Almost two years later, I am so sick of it, tomorrow is my last day on it. i do now even want to hear my employer pleas to remain. I know outside is tougher but to tell you the truth I have no right to boast that I am employed. My suggestion is unless you are so desparate, I would suggest looking for employment that suits your need. In the meantime volunteer in some organization to avoid loosing your skills and capabilites

Neither pride nor money is my chief motivation. I do my job because I enjoy it. Find the things you love in life, and your work will be pleasant and fun... you'll look forward to it everyday. I'm living proof... I'm a teacher.

neither. why be miserable for 8-10 hours out of every day for your parents, relatives, community? in fact, why work at a job you don't like in order to buy a nice car/house/clothes just to impress your peers? it won't make you happy, it will just help you to feel less insecure if you are already insecure about yourself.
