maybe i can forgive but i cannot forget. and i can't trust someone who's done that.

Forgiving is natural and humane.
Why u had been allowing to hurt your feelings for so long?
You are only responsible for not avoiding or stopping.
You may also forgive, but don't forget, so that similar occurance are not repeated in future.

Depends on what kind of thing they've done to hurt me but why on earth did you let them hurt you for so long in the first place? You'd have no one to blame but yourself for that. The question you should be asking is "Can I forgive myself for letting someone hurt me for so long?"

Yes you can. I don't say it's easy, but you can. Forgiveness is a choice. Once you make the choice, the feeling follows. (tried and tested)

Jesus said if we dont forgive others how will our Father in Heaven forgive us.I believe me must forgive .I know it is very hard the hardest is forgiving yourself!

FOR A LONG ,TIME I DONT KNOW ABOUT THAT, BUT I GUESS ,IF UR THE TYPE OF PERSON TO FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO FORGIVE ,YOU CAN,AND ALTHOUGH FORGIVEN YOU WILL NEVER FORGET,BUT IM SURE CERTAIN THOSE THINGS WILL STILL BE BROUGHT UP BY BEING AROUND THAT PERSON GOOD LUCK
